Spray away
May 1st 2008

EcoMESH from EPS evaporates water on a large mesh area in front of the heat rejection surface of mini-split, rooftop, air cooled chillers, condensers, air inlet cooling and dry coolers. Water spray provides an adiabatic cooling effect on the incoming air stream via an ambient sensor or by condensing pressure limit. When settings exceed a pre-set level the EcoMESH controller initiates water spray to lower air temperature for the condenser so condensing pressure can be lowered, saving energy during high ambient periods. Spray nozzles can operate with very low pressure on normal city mains water pressures.
