Rough terrain access September 1st 2008 Following The Spiderlift Company's
recent appointment as UK dealer for
the Dinolift range of trailer-mounted
and self-propelled access platforms,
it has now announced the arrival of a
24m reach machine.
The Dino 240RXT, which is
powered by a Caterpillar 3003 diesel
engine developing 17.5 kW (23.5 hp)
@3600 rpm, weighs in at just 4250kg
– less than half that of most rival
machines of similar reach.
This new Dino unit features both
4-wheel drive and 4-wheel steer
systems, making it suitable for use
where there are difficult ground
conditions or tight areas to negotiate.
For enhanced operational flexibility
the machine's steering system can
also be set to crab steer or
conventional 2-wheel mode.
Besides being able to cope well
with uneven and wet areas, the
240RXT is equipped with an
automatic self-levelling system using
four hydraulically operated
outriggers. More articles from The Spiderlift Company: |
