Stairway to safe access
September 1st 2009 Southworth Handling has
announced the Stockmaster range of
ladders and access platforms.
The aluminium ladders come with a
patented wheel system which allows
the units to be moved easily, then the
wheels fold back to give a stable
platform when climbing the ladder.
Available in two basic models with
platform heights from 1400 to
4300mm, the range has an integral
automatic safety gate which closes
behind the operator once they reach
the platform. The standard Navigator
ladder is mounted on four castors
and comes with integral safety frame
and auto-closing gate.
The unit allows loads which can
be carried in one hand to be accessed
from heights to 6m. An optional
