Training filmed
September 1st 2007 AFI-Uplift's training courses for
powered access machine
operators will be televised in
September when Brian Parker,
general training manager, appears
on the Discovery Channel.
Parker was filmed putting three
young people through their paces
when he trained them in how to
operate a Haulotte HA16PX boom.
For the programme in which he
took part, trainees stripped down
an aircraft and were taught how to
use a boom lift. Parker put them
through the IPAF operator's course.
Filming took place at AFI's
London West depot and was for
