90% recycled March 1st 2005 Randalls Fabrications has supplied a giant Simpak 5000 static waste compacter to Enviroco to help deal with waste from a North Sea oil producer.
Enviroco specialises in alternatives to landfill and will be recycling 90% of the waste, both by conventional means and by transferring compacted waste to the Shetland Islands energy recovery plant.
The Simpak 5000 has a large capacity charge box and hopper and a 22kW motor driving up to a nominal 177 cubic metres an hour, at a compaction force of 45 600Kgf.
The machine’s hydraulic power pack is a separate, easily maintained unit for rapid cycling and reliability. More articles from Skip Units Group: |
