Independent drinks wholesaler Waverley TBS has invested in a trio of Nilfisk-Alto machines to clean its new depot in Hailsham, East Sussex and the fleet of delivery vehicles based there.

It uses a heavy duty Floortec R580B ride-on sweeper for general interior cleaning. This is a 24V battery powered sweeper which cleans an 800mm path (or 1050mm when two side brooms are fitted), giving it a total capability of 4200m2/h. It is highly manoeuvrable and can turn in an aisle width of just 1690mm.

A Scrubtec 343B walk-behind scrubber dryer scrubs and dries up to 1720m2/h and has a cleaning width of 430mm.

Permanently fixed outdoors is a 400V Truck Booster 5-49D stationary pressure washer for cleaning lorries. Its EcoPower boiler produces hot water at 90°C, with an additional steam stage at 140°C for handling the toughest of road dirt.
