Replacing a rotary brush with Broadwood's SweepEx modular brush system has provided transport company CA Stevens with savings in brush replacement, while providing effective sweeping.

The SweepEx is used in conjunction with a forklift and is attached easily using a heavy-duty hitch. Sweeping of storage areas and warehouse can be undertaken at a moment's notice to remove sand, gravel and animal feed dropped when trucks are unloading.

SweepEx heads and mounting hardware are made from industrial strength steel and brushes provide about 450 miles of sweeping before they need changing.
