Cleans without chemicals July 1st 2008 The ech2o technology available
with Tennant T3 and T5 pedestrian
scrubber dryers means there is no
need for chemicals within these
machines.
This technology activates water
to perform like a powerful
detergent, providing benefits for
the user including cost efficiency,
environmental issues and health
and safety.
The machine is filled with tap
water, the water is then infused
with highly oxygenated microbubbles
which produces
oxygenated water. This is sent
though a water cell where an
electric current is applied. The
charged water attacks the dirt
breaking it into smaller particles
and pulling it off the floor surface;
after about 45sec, charged water
loses its charge and returns to
water. All that is left in the recovery
tank is tap water and dirt.
As no chemicals are involved
many health and safety risks are
eliminated and slip and fall
accidents are reduced through the
elimination of slippery detergent
residue.
The ech2o technology is
suitable for use in the food sector,
hospitals, shopping centres,
schools, kitchens, dairies and
bakeries. The machines can be
used to clean floor surfaces such
as tile, non-slip surfaces, linoleum
and painted floor surfaces.
The T3 and T5 machines can
clean from 1405 to 2400m2/h. Both
include cleanable solution and
recovery tanks and long lasting
battery packs that give up to 4h of
runtime and onboard charger.
