Isolate/extend

The new Rover 200 series from Amplicon provides USB isolation and extends USB connections to 40m in length. It comprises a pair of USB extenders with fibre optic cable factory fitted between them.

This provides an 'out of the box' USB extender with complete optical isolation end-to-end.

Options with 1m (effectively a USB isolator), 20 and 40m of fibre are available as standard.

Optical isolation is often required for connecting USB devices in electrically noisy environments or when connecting medical instruments to PCs.
