Airbus office
May 1st 2006

At Airbus UK's wing production facility in Broughton, North Wales, which makes the wings for the new Airbus A380, Troax modular partitioning systems have been used to create a series of offices and workstations.

The Excalibur range of steel partitioning was used to construct the offices, in a project carried out by contractor Somerville Installations. The offices, formed from a combination of solid steel and steel and glazed panels, are situated in the main production area.

The system's double skin design provides a high level of sound and heat insulation and complies with all relevant Health and Safety legislation.

The powder coated partitioning panels are flush both sides, making them streamlined. The modularity of the system means Airbus has the flexibility to alter the office layout in the future, should its requirements change.
