Durability lined up January 1st 2012 The new £90m Morrisons
Regional Distribution Centre
in Bridgwater, Somerset, has
an overall floor area of
760,000ft2 comprising
ambient, chilled and frozen
warehouses.
To ensure the safety of the
1000 staff employed at the
site, over 6000m of safety
walkway lines and 500 pedestrian
symbols were required.
With heavy pedestrian, forklift
and trailer traffic, the long
term durability of the lines
and symbols was paramount.
After rigorous testing, it was
decided that RapidShield
from Quaker Chemical
offered the best solution for
the job.
Certified RapidShield
contractor, Quality Marking
Services, used the latest
preparation equipment to
clean and prepare the areas
for the markings. Special floor
masks were used for the line
markings and symbols and
RapidShield was successfully
installed and cured instantly
by UV light after application. More articles from Quaker Chemical Ltd: |
