Dust levels in warehouse controlled by sweeper January 1st 2004 Freight transport company MAT Transport relies on Walter-Broadleys battery-powered Challenger Super-Twin sweeper to maintain a low dust environment in its Grays warehouse.
Commenting on his choice of sweeper, Adrian Nicholls, depot manager, says We needed a sweeper that would control dust levels outside the warehouse and thus prevent ingress. We looked at three manufacturers machines. The Challenger performed just as well as the others, if not better, but it was its price that finally tipped the balance.
A compact and versatile ride-on sweeper, the Challenger Super-Twin has a 700mm main-broom sweeping path (1100mm with side brooms) and all-round visibility from the drivers seat. Its 1m turning circle allows it to clean in confined spaces, while the twin side brooms can be used to clean right up to the edges in either direction. These deflect on contact with obstacles.
