Hard wearing anti-static system that’s easy to clean

Invertek Drives manufactures electronic variable speed drives at its state-of-the-art facility in Welshpool. When the company decided on an antistatic floor to prevent damage to electronic components and subassemblies, it turned to Flowcrete for help.

Almost 1000m2 of Flowcrete’s Flowshield ESD was installed at the site in a grey and purple colour scheme. Approved contractor Capeland installed the anti-static system over a concrete base in just four days.

The product is an easy-toclean, chemical-resistant and hard wearing floor finish specially formulated as part of an anti-static system. It allows any electrical charge to safely dissipate to earth, therefore preventing the build-up of static electricity.

Flowshield ESD does not harbour dust, making it a suitable choice for electronic and manufacturing environments. It will withstand intensive wheeled and forklift traffic.
