Improving conditions September 1st 2008 Herongripa from Plastic
Extruders is helping to
provide safe working
conditions at the DHL food
and packaging distribution
centre in Cannock.
Herongripa matting is laid
on both sides of the
conveyor line used for
processing and
repackaging goods. It is
slip resistant and
comfortable to stand on.
Plastic Extruders says
Herongripa is widely used
on assembly lines and in
factories, and its
characteristics benefit food
and drink processing
industries. The open grid
format is wider than normal
for efficient dispersal of
waste products and liquids,
or the retention of slippery
matter on the surface.
Another benefit is that it is
manufactured from animal
fat resistant vinyl which,
with sanitised additives,
provides anti-fungal and
anti-microbial protection.
This makes it suitable for
abattoirs or meat
processing and packaging.
The orange matting will
contour over rough or
uneven surfaces and is
easy to cut and fit on site. It
is available in 5 and 10m
long rolls, minimising
seams, and in widths of 60,
91 and 122cm. More articles from Plastic Extruders Limited: |
