Panels replace roof

Bonar floors has completed a refurbishment and upgrading package on its Kuster printing and laminating line, carried out by Advanced Combustion Engineering. Bonar floors wanted to reduce the amount of used steam by converting the dryer to direct gas firing. This involved installing an individual fully modulating gas burner on each recirculation duct, complete with digital P.I.D temperature controller.

The insulation to the machine was improved by replacing the complete roof section with new high specification panels.The complete installation was finished within the two week shut down.
