Efficient cooling for people and buildings March 1st 2007 The application of evaporative cooling for the cooling of buildings and people will be the theme of EcoCooling's stand at Total 2007. Evaporative cooling is suitable for cooling energy-intensive factories and warehouses. Print and packaging processes also benefit from the stabilised humidity levels it produces. A standard EcoCooler, covering an area of about 200m2 can produce up to 35kw of cooling in the UK, while consuming only 1.5kW of electricity. The company says that, typically, an installation is a quarter of the cost of traditional air-conditioning and has 15% of the running costs. Small to medium enterprises can qualify for an interest-free loan from the Carbon Trust to cover the entire installation cost. EcoCooling staff will advise visitors of the simple, quick application process which can result in an interest-free loan of up to £100k over four years. Stand 5756 More articles from EcoCooling Ltd: |
