Neat baler

Baler/compactor units from KK Balers have been supplied to the Berkshire Brewery, part of Scottish Courage Brewing at Reading, where they are reducing the volume of cardboard and packaging waste.

The KK 18 vertical hydraulic balers have been integrated as part of the small pack, can and bottle production lines. Employees can now dispose of waste cardboard packaging directly into the baler which automatically compacts its volume by 10:1 to produce a neat bale ready for disposal.

Units have magnetic interlock switches and PLC controls.
