Task specific lighting
November 1st 2008

Matching intelligent lighting concepts with the right lightning components is the basis of Waldmann Lighting's Twin-C approach. The company says productivity, safety and energy consumption can be improved by looking at lighting requirements for specific tasks rather than simply using standard lighting.

The company comments that conventional lighting tailors lighting to area size. Twin-C addresses the specific demands of each part of the workplace and devises a bespoke concept.

The company has produced a booklet on the Twin-C approach that includes research findings that, it says, illustrate the productivity, safety, health and energy saving benefits that can be achieved by applying intelligent lighting concepts.
