Custom-built dock lifts
November 1st 2006 Custom-built mobile dock lifts from Transdek are providing Clares Merchandise Handling Equipment with a cost effective means of unloading roll cages from trailers without tail lifts at Tesco distribution centres in Daventry and Chesterfield. Roll cages are delivered from the company's factory in Somerset to sections of Tesco DCs without loading docks, so equipment is needed to lower deliveries to ground level. Transdek's two mobile lifting platforms have a load capacity of 2.25t and can be wheeled away easily when not in use. Standard equipment was re-designed to give an extended lift height of 2.1m and working platforms of 2090 by 3100mm. Ramps were also elongated. More articles from Transdek UK Ltd: |
