Rebranding explained

Rebranding during a recession is not top of most companies' list of priorities. However, Ashtead Technology says it is thriving in the current market conditions and has launched a new catalogue encompassing its new brand to emphasise the company's key areas of expertise.

The catalogue features latest technologies for remote visual inspection, environmental monitoring and non-destructive testing with applications in most industries. Incorporating a globe and the human eye, the new logo emphasises both the global nature of Ashtead Technology and its expertise in supplying instruments for inspecting, testing and monitoring.

Andy Doggett, MD explains: "The current economic downturn places a greater responsibility on rental companies such as Ashtead Technology because our customers, in common with almost all businesses, need to reduce capital expenditure and renting provides them with the opportunity to do so without sacrificing capability or projects. The catalogue will help customers find the instruments they need as well as remind them that we are here to help."
