Safety tester for fixed location testing January 1st 2005 The latest addition to the range of electrical in-service safety testers from Seaward Electronic is an advanced dual voltage tester.
The portable BenchPAT has been specifically designed for plant and maintenance engineers carrying out safety testing routines at a fixed location, such as in factory workshops, hire outlets, repair shops and similar designated test areas.
Easy to operate in manual or automatic modes, the unit incorporates all conventional electrical safety testing functions and includes a flash test capability.
It can be used to test any electrical appliance, including IT equipment, from any power source.
Features include specialist software that allows the comparison of successive test results to identify progressive deterioration in equipment, and barcode scanning to reduce test times.
The tester has a large capacity internal memory for the full recording of all test data, ensuring proper traceability of test information and results.
For complete test systems, the BenchPAT can be linked to a new desk printer for the automatic and immediate production of cable wraps and test labels direct from the tester.
The new Desk Test ‘n’ Tag safety labelling system eliminates any reliance on manual labelling and enables all important test data to remain with the appliance, including equipment-specific barcodes for product identification and future re-test purposes. More articles from Seaward Group: |
