Securely stored
July 1st 2004

High value goods such as alcohol and tobacco are secured within a Troax wire mesh enclosure at Somerfields distribution centre in St Helens.

For the secure, bonded area of the warehouse, Troax designed a free-standing, wire mesh structure using its Broadsword range of wire mesh partitioning.

The enclosure reaches a height of 16m and is 60m long, segregating the bonded area from the ambient store.

The project was carried out in conjunction with Link 51 who supplied the pallet racking at the warehouse.

Troax also installed its Delta Guard wire mesh screening along the rows of pallet racking within the enclosure to prevent items from falling and possibly injuring staff working in the aisles below.
