Tesco stocks up on shelving
November 1st 2009 Troax UK has designed and
supplied a series of 250
storage and shelving bays for
Tesco's new distribution
centre near Dublin. The wire
mesh storage bays are located
at ground level and have
enabled Tesco to create 25
additional product locations
for each single pallet location
that has been removed.
Troax custom-designed a
new fitting for the project
which makes the shelving
easy to assemble and adjust.
Troax's vertical mesh
divider panels were installed,
creating separate storage
'compartments' for different
types of merchandise. The
wire mesh design permits
smoke and heat to filter
through to trigger smoke
detection systems and allows
effective penetration of
sprinkler systems. Troax also
supplied Musca Anti-Collapse
