CLEAN-UP ROLE
May 1st 2005

Fire and flood restoration specialist Belfor Relectronic (UK) used equipment from AFI Aerial Platforms to help them clean the fire blackened roof of a production process hall at the Corus steelworks in Flintshire.

With pressure washers not deemed suitable, the team used chemicals, rags and elbox grease as they worked two at a time in each AFI machine.

Steve Robinson, Belfor damage surveyor, says “The AFI machines not only gave us reach and flexibility, but provided a costeffective solution.

AFI supplied one Skyjack 9250 scissor lift and 10 booms, with both straight and articulated versions and working heights from 20 to 26m.
