Crown extends reach height

A new Wave Work Assist Vehicle with extended reach height joins Crown’s WAV 50 Series.

WAV 50-118 allows work to be accomplished at heights to 5m by raising the operator platform to about 3m. The current WAV 50-84 with a platform lift height of 2.1m offers a reach height of 4m.

Both models offer a load capacity to 90kg on the load tray and an additional 115kg on the load deck above the battery compartment. At 750mm wide and 1525mm long, the vehicle passes through standard doors.

The operator stands on a cushioned platform that has padded wrap-around safety rails.

Wave travels at speeds to 6km/h, twice the average walking speed. In addition, its ability to drive and lift simultaneously saves time. However, for safety, the travel speed is then reduced to 3km/h.

Speed, lift and lower functions, steering and braking are coordinated by a built-in safety system.
