Cutting the cost of dry ice May 1st 2005 Blast cleaning using frozen carbon dioxide has been made easier, according to Icevent Technology.
The company’s Triventek dry ice making and blaster equipment overcomes the logistical and cost problems associated with buying-in dry ice from a distant factory.
The PE45 Pelletiser and RE45 Recovery Unit recycle the gas that is normally vented to atmosphere during icemaking.
The company says this means that dry ice can be produced at half price and it can be made when and where needed.
Icevent says German dry ice cleaning contractors have reported that freshly made dry ice cleans quicker and better than bought-in dry ice, that can often be three days or more old when delivered to the user. |
