Available from Siemens Building Technologies are Synco controllers that are pre-programmed to simplify commissioning in a wide range of heating, ventilation and air conditioning applications.

All the built-in applications are tested and documented, with detailed function descriptions and commissioning checklists.

Synco 200 is for temperature, humidity, pressure, air quality and other physical variables. It is a standalone unit for use with one or two control loops and separate sensors. It arrives with almost 100 pre-programmed applications.

Commissioning engineers simply select the application using the front panel controls, and the plant is ready to operate. Alternatively, they can adapt existing applications for their needs or configure their own applications if required.

Top-of-the-range Synco 700 is similar to the 200 version, but communicates with other devices over the open Konnex bus. It too has pre-programmed applications and offers the same flexibility, but users can easily download more through the communications port.
