Portable, handheld and fixed, online thermal cameras and process imaging systems for plant condition and process monitoring will be demonstrated at Maintec 2006 by Land Instruments International.

Theses include the mobile phone-sized Land guide M4 is believed to be the smallest thermal imager available, and has a measurement range of -20 to 250°C, with sensitivity of 0.12°C.

The latest Cyclops TI814 handheld thermal imager uses an uncooled 320 by 240 pixel, long wavelength, focal plane array detector giving a temperature accuracy of better than ±2°C within the range -20 to 1500°C. It is now available with on-board visual camera and extended ambient operating temperature range.
