September 1st 2004 InfraRed Integrated Systems (IRISYS) has announced the launch of the IRI 1011, with prices starting at less than 1000.
The lightweight hand-held imager has complete optical imaging and microprocessor systems, built-in laser aiming device and one hand control. Power is supplied by four standard or rechargeable AA-size internal batteries or from an external 5v dc supply.
