Modular partitioning
September 1st 2004

At Peugeot’s manufacturing plant near Coventry double skin steel partitioning from Troax has been used as a versatile, cost effective way to create new facilities, such as amenity areas, offices, secure storage and production areas.

Many of the new areas are located on the factory floor where, for example, the Excalibur partitioning has been used to create clean environments for sensitive electronic equipment.

Included is a computer room constructed in the paint shop to protect computers and monitoring equipment from dust and airborne contamination.

Excalibur panels are of monobloc construction, comprising two steel skins separated by a composite insulating infill. The design complies with all relevant health and safety legislation and provides a good level of sound and heat insulation.
