Slip resistant September 1st 2003 When Network Health and Beauty acquired a fire damaged warehouse in Farnborough as its storage and packing depot, refurbishment was required.
There was no damp proof membrane to the 2000m2 floor, so contractor Marston Associates, installed a Sika flooring system to provide effective, economical damp protection for the slab and to give a hard wearing, slip-resistant surface.
To cope with high residual humidity in the slab, the system was based on Sikafloor-81 EpoCem. This acts as a moisture absorbing layer to give a dry surface for the final finish of Sikafloor-261 universal epoxy. More articles from Sika Limited: |
