The Rolls-Royce manufacturing plant and head office at Goodwood, West Sussex, has a specialist industrial flooring system produced by Sika-Armorex.

The 35 000m2 of assembly and paint shop areas have been installed with Sikafloor systems, including the dry shake surface hardening material Armorshield. This is a formulation of cement, pigment, tough synthetic aggregates and admixtures that are sprinkled onto the surface of the new, wet concrete floor slab. The resulting monolithic surface gives a tough, durable floor.

Sikafloor systems used within the plant assembly, surface technology centre and upholstery zones include self-smoothing screeds Sikafloor 261 and Sikafloor 262AS, an electrostatically conductive system.
