Keep the noise down

Increasing legislation under The Noise at Work Regulations and the Environmental Protection Act means generator manufacturers have to find a way of reducing noise from standby sets.

The SuperQ Silent Canopy from Scorpion Power Systems is said to reduce noise levels by up to 10dBA on standard acoustic canopies. There is no enlargement of the generator’s footprint and it allows easy access to the generator for maintenance.

A special anti-corrosion coating is applied to the canopy as standard and is capable of withstanding extreme weather conditions.

SuperQ is available with all Scorpion small, mid-range and large generators ranging from 0.5kVA to 2mVA. It is expected to prove a welcome addition to companies operating in urban areas that are required to respond to growing legislation on noise pollution.
