Versalift has developed a new load sensing system for its vehiclemounted platforms, providing extended safe working outreach during one-person operation.

The new system uses an advanced 'load cell' design. The cell, located in the fly boom, allows safe working outreach to be extended by about 1m for oneperson operation (120kg SWL).

The advance provides valuable extra outreach during single operator use while remaining within safety guidelines and leaving twoperson outreach unaffected. The extra reach can save significant time by reducing the number of machine set-up/set-down cycles during a shift. Another advantage is that the system does not rely on stabilisers with a wide spread.
