Builder's merchant and DIY retailer, Huws Gray-Fitlock has been so satisfied with Broadwood International's SweepEx modular broom system that it has bought 10 of them.

Now, instead of taking one employee most of the day to brush the yard, the SweepEx is attached to a forklift in minutes and the sweeping is completed in less than half an hour.

As well as the time factor involved with manually sweeping the yard, there was also the potential problem of RSI that can be caused by uncomfortable posture, prolonged gripping and repetitive movements.

The compact design of the SweepEx allows a powerful sweeping action both forwards and backwards. Rapid, efficient and economical sweeping of large areas is achieved easily.

The tough system copes well with harsh environments as broom heads and mounting hardware are made from industrial strength steel with heavy duty powder coat finish.

The easy-to-replace polypropylene brush section has rows of 30cm bristles for effective sweeping. The brushes will provide about 450 miles of sweeping before they need changing.
