Portable bunding
September 1st 2005

The Tribund multipurpose portable bunding system from Darcy Products is designed to provide secondary containment for leaks and spills from mobile equipment such as compressors, generators, pumps, and so on. It also provides on-site temporary bunding for drums and IBCs.

Under the Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) Regulations 2001 secondary containment is mandatory where the volume of stored oil exceeds 200L.

If required, equipment can be operated from within the bunded area and the Tribund system can also be used as a portable decontamination pool or for vehicle or equipment wash-down.

Available for capacities from 270 to 30 000L, the system is made from hydrocarbon and UV-resistant PVC fabric with non-metallic side supports. Lightweight for ease of handling, it is simply removed from an optional carrying case and unfolded.
