NDT Inspecting & Testing has added remote field eddy current (RFEC) inspection and remote visual tube inspection to its portfolio of NDT techniques, which includes IRIS ultrasonic testing.

This means its field services division can offer the full spectrum of tube testing services for any material or defect condition.

RFEC current testing is an inspection technique that uses low frequency AC and through-wall transmission to inspect pipes and tubes from the inside. External and internal defects can be detected with approximately equal sensitivity.
