Freezes pests to death September 1st 2006 Insect-O-Cutor has developed a system called Cryonite that uses carbon dioxide to freeze crawling insects to death.
It works by emitting a carbon dioxide 'snow' through a nozzle that generates the optimum particle size and speed to rapidly freeze insects as it evaporates.
Now in use across the European food industry, Insect-O-Cutor says Cryonite preserves a pesticide-free environment, sanitises machinery through eliminating stored product insects, enables production to continue during the sanitation and treatment cycle, thereby eliminating production downtime.
The system is easy to operate with just a couple of hours training, and safely allows for direct contact with foodstuff and food contact surfaces.
Last year, the Society of Food Hygiene and Technology awarded it Best Product for 2005. |
