Low warehouse dust levels
November 1st 2004

Boughey Distribution, distributor of ambient grocery products, has bought a Tennant 8300 sweeperscrubber with FaST technology for its warehouse on Deeside.

Its fast foam technology is said to increase the productivity of sweeper-scrubbers and scrubberdryers while slashing water and detergent use and costs.

Dave Vernon, warehouse manager, comments Usually when you sweep and scrub, you get dust in the air. We wanted to avoid this and the 8300 keeps dust levels to a minimum and proved particularly valuable during completion of building work.

The battery powered machine uses a 230mm dia brush with a redirectional cylinder to sweep debris into the hopper without brush carry-over. Debris, including nails, is swept up in advance of scrubbing.
