Vac makes light of industrial cleaning
July 1st 2007

Designed to make light work of the toughest industrial cleaning challenges, the new ATTIX 9 range of wet or dry vacuums from Nilfisk-Alto have powerful twin-motor performance and come in four high efficiency, easy-to-operate machines.

The range incorporates large capacity and simple disposal, automated filter cleaning, low 67dB noise output, and a working radius of up to 14m.

The ATTIX 9 range can be used for fast pick up of liquid or powder spills, debris removal and general maintenance cleaning in factories, warehouses, loading docks, and building sites. There is also an option for H-class hazardous dusts.

All models have a one-piece steel frame, with large wheels and industrial castors for easy movement. They have built in filter cleaning capabilities to deal with the problems of fine dust, and washable, reusable 0.75m2 PET fleece filter cartridges.

The machines have two 1500W motors, providing an airflow of 7200L/min and a vacuum of 230mbar for fast and efficient cleaning. Electronic soft start is included to prevent overloads and all machines operate on 230V single phase. The ATTIX 961-01 is also available in 110V.

The ATTIX 965-21 SD XC with XtremeClean fully automatic filter cleaning, for example, has a 50l 'sit down' stainless steel tank, enabling it to collect dirt loads in excess of the 40kg maximum weight men may carry under EU rules. The machine can be fitted with a fixed floor nozzle for heavy duty pick-up of items such as metal chips.

A special tank removal system allows the tank to be separated from the machine without the need to remove the motor head. SD tanks weighing up to 100kg are emptied by tilting in a special safety cradle which is raised by forklift.
