Proprep in Chester is a new company formed to meet demand for a specialist subcontract floor clearing and screeding contractor.

The directors of the company knew that they would have to tackle a wide range of clearing and preparation problems and needed flexible and reliable floor uplift, grinding and shotblasting equipment.

In a contract exceeding £80k, the company ordered 12 items from Blastrac. These included BMS-270 floor stripping machine, 2 BG 250s and 580 Pro grinding machine, a 2-20DT horizontal blast cleaning machine, compatible dust collectors and a number of hand held grinding, scarifying and planing machines.

Karl McVitty, proprep director, says "With Blastrac's help, we have developed a comprehensive facility that includes the latest technology in pumping cementitious and anhydrate screeds."
