Off-road platform July 1st 2005 A partnership between vehicle-mounted access specialist, Versalift, and Bremach’s UK supplier, Fourtec, has resulted in a new mid-range, off-road platform for the UK access market.
Versalift has adapted an ET36NF platform for the right-hand drive version of the Bremach Extreme 4 x 4.
The ET36NF is available on the 5t GVW Extreme 50 and on the recently introduced 6t Extreme 60.
They are said to provide significantly better payload and off-road capability than a Land Rover defender, without the leap to the bigger, more expensive Unimog.
Featuring Iveco Unijet turbo intercooled 2.8l diesel engine, the ET36NF Bremach Extreme is capable of getting crew and kit to the moist isolated of jobs. A 12.5m working height and maximum outreach of 7.3m from the agile telescopic boom, plus 110° fly-boom and 360° rotation, are said to give excellent reach. Payload is 750kg.
