ON-SITE ELECTRICAL TESTING

At the 790-bed Poole Hospital, Parkersell (Lighting and Electrical) Services has completed on-site electrical testing throughout all of the hospital buildings.

This is required every five years to ensure that the hospital’s electrical distribution conforms to the latest regulations and standards. Any faults or damage that can cause disruption or personal injury are documented by Parkersell and either brought to the attention of the hospital engineers or repaired at the time of the test. Parkersell provides a full periodic inspection and test report with observations and recommendations showing the condition of the electrical circuit.

Parkersell or the hospital’s own electrical engineers carry out any remedial repairs required.

The company has also compiled complete electrical installation drawings for the site and has updated the hospital’s CAD drawings with this information.
