Sensors conform to ATEX
September 1st 2004

Monitrans new intrinsically safe vibration sensors meet the ATEX European Directive 94/9/EC100a for hazardous areas.

The range allows engineers to monitor vibration levels that are in potentially explosive conditions where gases, fumes, chemicals and powders etc. are present.

Each unit is made in stainless steel, welded and sealed to ip67. This, together with the high temperature resistant and stainless steel overbraided cable ensures reliability in tough conditions.

Models 1100IC and 1107IC can be used directly with most intrinsically safe data collectors or interfaced through standard barrier equipment, while model 11815 has a 4-20mA output ideal for real time alarm monitoring systems.
