AC motors for latest pedestrian stacker series
July 1st 2005

The addition of AC drive motors, to boost economy, energy efficiency and power, is one of a number of enhancements to be found on the SBP10-16N series of pedestrian stackers from Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks.

Offered in 1, 1.2 and 1.6t capacities, the trucks have a highly ergonomic tiller arm, good visibility and a compact chassis. Four main groups are offered.

The SBP10N and SBP12N are described as affordable and compact and are suitable for stacking at lift heights to 3.3m or 4.3m respectively in small spaces.

Both offer single-speed lifting and twin speed lowering. There is the option of stepless lifting and lowering with the SBP12N.

The SBP16N is a larger model with a maximum lift height of 5.4m.

It has compact dimensions, a steering angle of 200° and optional tiller arm lock bypass.

Initial lift models – SBP12NI and SBP16NI – can be used on ramps or uneven floors and for simultaneous handling of two loads.

Straddle leg models – SBP12NS and SBP16NS – can handle bottom-boarded pallets, such as the 1000 by 1200mm UK-pallets.

Their lift carriages are suitable for FEM 2A forks and the opening between their load legs is field adjustable from 900 to 1300mm.
