Clearly seen July 1st 2005 Introduction of a specially designed Gore-Tex weatherproof jacket and Windstopper jacket to the workforce of Fraport AG at Frankfurt airport has proved a great success.
Following the updated European Standard, EN 471, on warning clothing for professional use and its own re-evaluation of health and safety, Fraport AG designed the garments to be warm and waterproof, yet breathable so that heat does not accumulate even under sweaty working conditions.
Both jackets have a high visibility warning function due to their colour and reflectors that enable workers to be seen on the tarmac.
If it rains, the Gore-Tex jacket keeps the worker dry, while the new Windstopper jacket protects from wind, draughts and light snowfall. It also has an insulating fleece lining. More articles from WL Gore & Associates Limited: |
