Copper thieves come a cropper on video

from RSI Video Technologies is a
wireless video security system that
stops copper theft by alerting staff of
an attempted theft and providing a
video of the incident.
Motion activates the integrated
night vision camera and sends a 10
second video of the intruder over the
cell network to the monitoring station
and the site manager.
Each system can operate up to 24
cameras for several months on one
set of batteries. They can be used
both indoors and outside. The
support features allow up to 200
users to support service personnel
that have access to remote or
difficult to protect facilities. The totally
wireless proximity reader simplifies
access to sites. The system has
Programmable Auto-Rearming that
assures protection is restored even if
service personnel neglect to turn
system back on.
The VIDEOFIED outdoor system
supports remote programming and
card management OVER GPRS cell
