Handling injuries reduced
July 1st 2005

A range of convenience stores nationwide have reduced the risk of manual handling injuries and improved vehicle turn-around times since they installed low profile lorry loaders from Edmolift.

Roll cages can be transferred from the goods-in area to shop level without need for a steep yard ramp or having to decant the load by hand. The process is said to be quick and easy. Each cage is raised while fully laden using the Edmolift table and then transported directly to the shop floor or warehouse.

With up to 300 cage movements a week the lifts have become a key link in the logistics chain.
