Little & large
July 1st 2005

AFI Aerial Platforms called on some of the biggest and smallest scissor lifts in its fleet to meet the needs of a contractor working on the new Coventry Arena complex.

Dry walling and partitioning specialist Taylor Hart used a 22.5m Liftlux 205-25 scissor lift to access some of the highest areas within the arena while, at the other end of the scale, a 7.8m Skyjack 3219 narrow width scissor was used in areas with restricted space.

Will Hart of Taylor Hart, says “Large scissor lifts can be difficult to obtain but its all credit to AFI that they managed to supply the Liftlux quickly and just when we wanted it.

For areas where space was tight, the Skyjack 3219 came into its own.

With a width of 0.81m, it was able to operate in areas where access would otherwise have been limited.”
