Maintaining safe solutions July 1st 2005 Although mainly involved in roof and gutter refurbishment using Duoprene 2000 polyurethane coatings, C.A.S.A.L. is increasingly asked to provide other facilities for its clients, particularly on external steel cladding. Its commitment to safety is evident across all areas of operations.
Over the years, steel wall and roof cladding systems develop surface problems that can lead to deterioration of building fabrics as well as spoiling the appearance of the premises. Surface cracking, ‘peel-back’ at overlaps and edges and corrosion of underlying surface are common problems.
C.A.S.A.L. coating systems offer a solution. Following surface preparation to deal with defects and corrosion, a coating system matching the previous colour can be applied or a change of colour can be provided.
Another area of operation for C.A.S.A.L. is in the refurbishment of internal cladding and panel systems using specialist non-solvent containing coatings. Suitable for metal substrate, they are also used to encapsulate fibrous panels to stabilise the surface, reduce dirt retention and provide decorative finishes. |
